My friend's fauxhawk looked great. I was thinking more of a curly mane with ribbons. I bought some hair glitter and rhinestones to bling out my face and hair. I couldn't find the rhinestones I was supposed to go out! AND my glitter hairspray didn't work. Ugh.
I didn't do much makeup-wise. I had some pretty white ribbon that had a pinkish purple sheen to them, so I went off that. Here's a pic for now and I'll do a how-to soon.

Hi, just curious. How did you make your horn and tail? I was looking up unicorns for Halloween this year and your blog came up. I hope you don't mind me asking. Thanks!

As for the tail, I gathered a bunch of tulle (2 yards or so) and ribbon into a big bundle. Then I wrapped wrapped one end of the tulle with wide pieces of pipe cleaner (found at Michael's craft store). I wrapped about a 2 1/2 inch long stump and safety pinned it onto my skirt.
If you have anymore questions, I can email you!
